We're so looking forward to seeing you in just a few weeks! To that end, we have a couple of updates and requests for you:
To Absent Friends: A Celebration of Life
We have suffered immeasurable losses in this community between the last MISTI-Con and this one. The enormity of grief is not a weight you need to bear alone; gather with us as we celebrate the lives, love, and legacies of the incredible people who left us too soon. If you have someone from our community that was lost, please email 2-5 photos of them to be used in a slide show. Feel free to describe their involvement and or love of the HP fandom, or something to describe them with the photos. Please send your message to formalprog@misti-con.com and in the subject line put "To Absent Friends" (DEADLINE IS MAY 10)
Sign Up for Meals
Meals will be buffet style, but we need an accurate count of how many attendees are planning to attend the opening luncheon and closing ceremonies. Shuttles and Rideshares
To and from MHT Airport: We priced out the shuttle options, and this year, the most affordable way to get to and from the Margate from the Manchester Airport is shared Lyfts/Ubers. If you would like to coordinate with other attendees, use this spreadsheet: MISTI-Con MHT Rideshare Coordination. Populate the fields with your information, and contact others directly using the information on the spreadsheet to arrange your rideshares. (Please note that anyone with a link to this spreadsheet will be able to see your info.) MISTI-Con staff is not responsible for matching or coordinating ride shares. We suggest booking your ride using your preferred app ASAP, to lock in your pricing. If you use Lyft, you should be able to set your pickup location as the Manchester airport. If you use Uber, you may need to choose a pickup location a short distance away.
To and from BOS Airport: We may be able to run one shuttle to and from Boston Logan (BOS), depending on how many folks are flying in and out of Boston and need transportation. If you are flying into or out of Logan and still need to arrange a ride to and from the airport, please fill out this google form: Sign Up for BOS Shuttle (DEADLINE IS MAY 10)
To and from a non-airport location: You can offer or request other carpools using this facebook group: MISTI-Con 2023 Carpool And Roomate Page. If you are looking for a ride, create a post with your contact info and the location, date, and time of your requested pick up and dropoff. If you can offer a ride, please peruse the posts and reply to anyone you may be able to help! MISTI-Con staff is not responsible for matching or coordinating carpools.
Roommate Coordination
If you would like to find a roommate, please add your contact information to this spreadsheet: MISTI-Con Roommate Coordination. Add any notes in your row about what you're looking for or open to. You can also feel free to reach out to anyone on the sheet who has included their contact info. Once you have your roommates squared away, call the Margate directly to make your reservation or to adjust the names on your booking. The number for the front desk is 603-524-5210, and you can ask to speak with Rebecca Kreitzer, the Reservations Manager - she's handling all the reservations for our attendees. MISTI-Con staff is not responsible for matching or coordinating roommates.

Sign Up For The Merlies
On Friday May 19, we will include a "runway" show of cosplay outfits from MISTI-Cons past as well as new creations. All participants will gather in the Gunstock room for a quick rehearsal at 6 PM.
